Grammar XI

I wonder if this is the weirdest topic I have ever written about but let’s start. A situation that might be outrageous to explain is when you want someone to help you cheat on a test. I know that almost everyone has cheated on a test , one way or another. I guess that in high school we were experts on cheating so we knew exactly how to do it. I had a friend that was really good at math and sometimes I used to ask her for help. I always tried to do it as gently as possible and trying to do something in exchange for her but of course, people always doubt it. The last exam that we took was the hardest. I studied a lot but either way I knew I needed extra help so I ask her to write the answers in a paper so she could pass it to me during the exam and then, I would help her in the English test which she knew she needed help as well. Hello! Thinking of a word that I use a lot was very difficult, so I decided to ask my friends. They chose "mate" my most used word (N1 V N2x N3x)  and I consider it accurate (N1 V N2 Adj). Probably, they thought this word was the right one because I say it to them all the time (N1 V N2 to N3); that's how I called them. Now, changing the topic a bit, I would like to talk about a city I would love to visit someday. New York seems modern and full of culture (N LV Adj), and that's why I want to go there. From what I've read, I find NYC interesting and diverse (N1 V N2 Adj), so I believe there is a lot to see and do.  This city became the first place I would travel to (Nx Lv Nx)  when I saw pictures of the Grand Central Terminal, The Central Park and The Empire State Building. Two years ago, all my family was planning a surprise party for my grandma’s 85 th birthday. Everyone was excited, but nobody knew what was coming ahead. We got many people to help us prepare some of the things we needed to throw the party. We had my aunt bake a lot of bread and I helped my sister to decorate, we even made my cousin carry a lot of chairs and tables .     Each person made sure that what they did was perfect because we wanted our grandma to have the best birthday ever, yet neither of us imagined that she was going to get sick. She ended up in the hospital just the day before her birthday and spent three days in there, we were so sad and disappointed,  for we knew how badly she wanted a birthday party. Thankfully, she recovered, and we got to celebrate her 85 th birthday a few days later, not in the way we wanted but at least, she enjoyed it.
